The Royal Parkland at Sandringham in Norfolk will once again host The Pageant of Motoring on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

This event will feature an impressive array of classic vehicles, along with a range of vintage traders, vehicle manufacturer stands, live music, main arena activities and captivating aerial displays.

Attendees can also indulge in a variety of culinary delights and explore a craft and vintage fair.

The Aston Martin Spring Concours will be the highlight of this year’s Pageant of Motoring. Around 70 of the very best cars from around the world will provide an exquisite display against the backdrop of Sandringham House.

A new ticket type will give visitors an opportunity to view the vehicles on display in front of the house and on the royal lawn.

There will be a large display of Aston Martins from throughout the years including Aston Martin DB2/4, DB4, DB5, DB6, DB7, DB9, V8 and DB11.

The jewel in the crown however must be The King’s 1969 MK ii DB6 Volante, which he was given as a 21st birthday gift from his parents. Uniquely, The King has had the DB6 converted to run on E85 bio-ethanol produced on his Duchy of Cornwall estate.

At the COP26 summit in 2021, King Charles explained that the Aston uses fuel created from “surplus English white wine and whey from the cheese process”.

While the Concours will be take pride of place on the royal lawn, more than 200 Aston Martins will also be displayed as part of the Aston Martin Owners Club stand in the royal parkland.

More than 30 car club stands will cover marques such as Rolls Royce, BMW, Lotus and Ferrari.

In addition, visitors can enjoy a display of royal vehicles rarely seen in public including The King’s 1968 MGC GT motor car, Vauxhall Cresta PA Friary Estate, American Style Imperial 1 racing car, Alvis TD21 Series II Drophead Coupe and the Rover 3 Litre Saloon.

Owners of classic vehicles are invited to attend as part of Pole Position Parking, sponsored by Anglia Car Auctions.

Hundreds of classics will be parked together with owners encouraged to bring a picnic along and enjoy the atmosphere.
