Nine new endangered animals are arriving at two zoos this spring.

Banham Zoo, near Diss, and Africa Alive, near Lowestoft, are run by the Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA) which has announced the new arrivals including the 'super spring six'.

Visitors to Banham Zoo over the Easter weekend may have caught the first glimpse of the new additions, announced this week in a social media competition.

A female margay named Tepin, a small wild cat native to Central and South America, has recently arrived at the zoo.

In 10 days, she will be joined by three pied tamarins, which are an endangered Amazonian primate species, and a female black and white ruffed lemur.

A female red panda and a female Asian small-clawed otter will arrive in April alongside a female snow leopard in May.
