A huge police operation is under way in Thetford following a stabbing on Sunday.
Bury Road in the town is currently closed and a forensic tent has been erected as investigations continue into a stabbing which took place on Sunday morning, leaving a man in his 30s seriously injured.
The man, who is still in a critical condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital, suffered multiple stab wounds in the incident which happened at 11.50am.
A forensic tent has been put up in Bury Road (Image: Newsquest)Police confirmed today that the man and two women who were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit attempted murder remain in custody.
Following initial enquiries officers also attended a property in Amulet Close.
Supt Sonia Humphreys, who is leading the investigation, said: "We understand this will be concerning to any residents in the area who witnessed the incident and we will have officers on patrol in the area."
