A man accused of harassing and threatening to kill a woman in Norfolk may be hiding from justice in Poland.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Artur Sliwiak after he failed to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court.
The 42-year-old, previously of Bury St Edmunds, faces seven charges including five of breaching by a restraining order, criminal damage and making death threats to a woman in Thetford.
Prosecutor Josephine Jones said it was not known if he was still in the UK with indications he may be back in Poland.
