A Norfolk baker who runs a mobile sweet treats business is offering the ultimate winter warmer dessert at various events.

Emma King, who lives in Thorpe St Andrew, started Mary's Kitchen, named after her mum who passed away and taught her to bake, in 2021 and she purchased a vintage horsebox.

The offering can be adapted depending on the event, which includes afternoon teas, ice creams and, more recently, Heavenly Crumbles.

With the latter, customers can choose their fruit base, with options such as apple or rhubarb, which is topped with crumble and then either custard or cream.

Upcoming events include the Christmas market at The Little Norfolk Farm in Horsford on November 19 and the first three weekends in December at the Elveden Courtyard.

Mrs King, who runs the business with help from her husband Mark, said: "I am at my happiest making the crumbles and I feel like it is a no-brainer as everyone loves them.

"I got really positive feedback at the fireworks events I did this year and I want to grow Heavenly Crumbles in 2024."
