STUDENTS at a school in Thetford spent a day learning about different cultures and heritages in celebration of European Day of Languages.
Classes from reception to year 6 at Thetford Grammar School began by learning about four main languages spoken in the world, English, Chinese, Spanish, Hindustani, and spent the day examining France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany and China.
The pupils spent time at a makeshift outdoor French caf and ate croissants, learnt colours in Spanish, sang in Italian and learnt where Poland is in the world.
The day ended as it had begun, with a school assembly where each class showed what they had learnt.
