THE roaring 40s were brought to life in Thetford on Saturday, as the Friends of Dad's Army Museum held a themed dance evening.
Carnegie Hall was packed with people dressed up for the occasion, while the dance floor filled with couples eager to join in the 1940s fun.
The night brought to an end an action-packed year for the museum, which is in the process of fundraising for a statue of Dad's Army favourite Captain Mainwaring.
The Friends have 1950s and 60s events planned for next March, as well as another 1940s evening next May. For tickets call Corinne on 07802 701911 or e-mail dadsarmythetford@googlemail.com
