Around 800 young people representing Suffolk's sporting future converged on Bury St Edmunds for a series of youth games.
The competition, in nine sports, was hotly contested, with strong teams from St Edmundsbury, Mid Suffolk, Waveney, and Forest Heath in particular ensuring it remained a closely fought title.
More than 80 young people from across the district represented Forest Heath this year at the Suffolk Youth Games.
After eight weeks of training sessions, the youngsters participated in tennis, basketball and girl's hockey, amongst others.
Team Forest Heath earned third place, their best ever result at the annual event and just one point off second place St Edmundsbury.
The event organised by Suffolk Sport, in association with local authorities, sports clubs, schools and other sports partners, is the largest multi-sport event in Suffolk.
