Three balaclava-clad burglars broke into the home of a metal detecting enthusiast at Knettishall, near Thetford, but left after being interrupted by two teenage girls.
Detectives are appealing for information following the burglary in Heath Road that took place between 8.20pm and 8.45pm on Saturday August 21.
Three men wearing dark clothing gained entry to the home but were disturbed by the girls and fled. All three appeared to be wearing balaclavas and nothing was stolen.
It is the second time the property has been burgled this year.
