A new Thetford group staged its first event, a monthly table-top sale, raising £40 for good causes.
The ANCHOR group - Abbey Neighbourhood Centre Helping Our Residents - is organising events and activities for Abbey Estate residents and the wider Thetford community and comprises local people, parents and representatives from Keystone Development Trust, the Abbey Café and Peddars Way.
The sale is on the last Saturday of every month at the Abbey Neighbourhood Centre, pictured; next sales are on October 25 and November 29 from
11am-2pm. Tables cost £2.50.
September's sale ran alongside of workshops led by Norfolk Wildlife Trust on topics like how to attract wild birds into your garden and how to collect seeds.
