An award-winning singer-songwriter has been announced to perform for the first time in 20 years at a summer concert series in Thetford.

Forest Live has confirmed that BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter Daniel Bedingfield will support Olly Murs at Thetford Forest on June 30.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album, this year will see Bedingfield performing live in the UK for the first time since 2005.

The 44-year-old first burst on to the scene in the early noughties with a string of hits including breakout single Gotta Get Thru This and follow-ups If You’re Not The One and Never Gonna Leave Your Side.

His best-selling debut album peaked at number two in the UK Albums Chart and has since sold more than four million copies worldwide.

A producer and songwriter, he has co-written tracks with the likes of Pixie Lott, SecondCity and American Idol finalist David Archuleta.

The pair join a wide-ranging line-up for this year’s Forest Live concert series presented by Forestry England.

Thetford Forest will also host rock stars Bryan Adams on June 20 and Sting on June 22, British pop star Paloma Faith on June 27 and Sir Tom Jones on June 28.
