An army veteran is launching a 72-hour immersive wilderness experience in Norfolk.
The three-day wild woodland adventure is led by expert instructors from U-Turn Back 2 Basics, a company that offers survival programmes and outdoor adventures in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Set in a secret location in Thetford, the private outdoor event aims to teach essential survival skills to its participants, encouraging them to "embrace the wild" and "unleash their inner survivalist”.

Using survival skills to adapt to unfolding scenarios, guests will be guided through fire-building techniques, shelter construction, water purification and campfire cooking.
Veteran Andrew Hill launched U-Turn Back 2 Basics following his recovery from an accident that led him to develop a functional neurological disorder and become temporarily wheelchair-bound.
Doctors told him that he would never walk again.

Embracing the outdoors to improve his mental health and "pushing through the constant pain", Mr Hill learned to walk again and four months later climbed Scafell Pike.
He said: "The last few years have been difficult mentally but slowly I have built resistance by understanding what helps me as an individual.”
Following his recovery, Mr Hill launched U-Turn Back 2 Basics to encourage others to rediscover the outdoors.
"I started well-being walks and campouts for myself to build my confidence of being alone without a carer and to be able to share that with the wider community is just amazing."
Tickets are available via the Eventbrite website and location details will be shared via what3words a week before the adventure begins.
