An East Anglian forest that "has something for everyone" has been rated among the best to explore in the UK.
High Lodge, in Thetford Forest, has been recognised for having "everything you’ll need to feel like a real-life Robin Hood".
To complete the Robin Hood experience it has a dedicated archery school, as well as its own Go Ape course.
The forest is a result of an effort to create a diverse woodland ecosystem - with a mixture of coniferous and classic broadleaf favourites including oak, birch and beech.

For younger ones, High Lodge has a Gruffalo trail complete with carved wooden statues as well as a Zog-themed orienteering route.
For the older kids and adults, there are plenty of tougher orienteering challenges, guided trail runs and plenty of running and cycling events to get involved in.
Serenity Yoga also runs two-mile walks with stops to practice yoga poses, meditation and group relaxation techniques.
The list - compiled by outdoor clothing and equipment retailer Millets - also mentions Kielder Forest in Northumberland, Haldon Forest in Devon and Delamere Forest in Cheshire.
