There is a real buzz around Thetford Town Cricket Club this season as they have acquired the services of Norfolk’s most experienced head coach, Mick Piggott.

Thetford have set themselves an impressive target as they look to challenge for promotion from both 1st XI and A XI leagues. There have been new signings and extensive work in and around the ground which has seen the construction of an enclosure.

Liam Conroy, club and first team captain, said: “We are really excited about our prospects this year and with the added coaching experience of our new club coach and the acquisition of both junior and senior players, this season promises to bring about the success we know we are capable of.”

Adult nets and training is on Tuesdays from 6pm-7.30pm. Junior coaching will be on Fridays from 5.30pm-7pm starting Friday. For information contact Liam Conroy on 07917 175894 or Mick Piggott on 07789 514118.
