Emergency services are at the scene and are cutting the woman from the vehicle.

The road is currently blocked both ways and the police are advising motorists to find an alternative route.

UPDATE: The woman has since been safely cut from the vehicle and is experiencing chest and neck pain.

The 50-year-old lost control on the bend and ended up trapped in the ditch.

Two fire crews assisted with cutting the woman from the vehicle.
