It is a day when couples share of joy of being together.

But while many people look forward to spending Valentine’s Day with a special someone, one over-looked pooch is hoping her dreams of someone to love her will come true.

Abandoned and found wandering the streets as a stray, Bella is described by members of staff at Dogs Trust in Snetterton, South Norfolk, as “affectionate with human and canine chums alike”.

As a result, she gets plenty of fuss and attention from those at the charity.

Yet despite having tonnes of love to give, she has not yet been lucky enough to find a loving owner of her own.

Diane McLelland-Taylor, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Snetterton, said: “All of us at the rehoming centre adore Bella, as she is such a sweet and special girl.

“We were instantly won over by her striking looks. We would love to see her find a family to call their own.

“She enjoys nothing more than plenty of fuss from people, and loves food and playing with a range of toys.

“She’s a super dog with a fantastic personality. We’re hoping Bella finds her ‘pawfect’ match to spend this and many more Valentine’s Days with.”

Bella is looking for a home with owners who can be around most of the time while she settles into her new environment.

She could live with another four-legged friend or children aged 10 and above.

Dogs Trust cares for over 15,000 stray, unwanted and abandoned dogs each year and has a network of 20 rehoming centres across the UK. The charity cares for over 15,000 stray, unwanted and abandoned dogs each year.

The rehoming centre on North End Road in Snetterton is open six days a week from noon to 4pm and is closed on Wednesdays.

Dogs Trust has a non-destruction policy and will never put a healthy dog to sleep.
