Willy Russell’s heart moving story of a teenager’s school trip to North Wales provided fantastic entertainment full of surprises.

It deals with ‘attitude’ in a big way as you would expect from a bunch of rebel youngsters who are behind in their education.

But is it the way they were dealt with, how the pupils and teachers coped with and indeed adjusted and compromised.

The fact it is a musical brings colour and action which makes it exciting and fun to watch. There is never a dull moment despite the features of some of the pupils being bored with the chosen activities.

The characters are most diverse but they are all in the pot together with the resulting brew is proving quite tasty!

At the end you feel as though you were on that very trip and quite exhausted with the emotions.
