RAF Lakenheath has announced it will carry out night-flying operations for a ten-day period starting on Monday.
The air force said the flights, which will take place between Monday August 13 and Thursday August 23, are necessary to maintain aircrew proficiency and are vital to the 48th fighter wing mission, but it added they should not take place beyond 11pm.
It asked anyone with low-flying aircraft and aircraft-related noise concerns to contact the RAF Lakenheath Command Post at 01638 524 800.
