Do you know somebody who has made a difference in the Wayland area?

The Wayland Volunteer Awards 2017 are asking for people to nominate a friend, colleague or relative who has given their time, energy and skills to help other people.

They may have made a difference through fundraising, committee work, organising events or cared for their neighbours.

If you know somebody who lives in the Wayland area and deserves an award, nominations are open until Sunday, April 30.

The awards will be presented at the Wayland Partnership Community Open Day on Saturday, May 20 at the Queen’s Hall, Watton.

The day will celebrate the volunteering which already happens across Wayland and the partnership will also hope to recruit new people.

To get a copy of the nomination form call Jan Godfrey on 01953 880202 or pop along to the reception at Wayland House, in Watton, to pick one up.
