Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision near Thetford

A motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries when his machine was involved in a collision.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened near the garden centre on Brettenham Road, Kilverstone, near Thetford, at around 2.40pm on Thursday, May 18.

A blue VW Polo and a Silver Peugeot motorbike were involved in the crash.

The male rider of the motorbike suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital whilst the driver of the Polo was uninjured.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the collision or has information concerning the driving manner of either vehicle beforehand.

Anyone with information should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) at Wymondham on 101.
