Archant

A woman on her way to the school run was arrested after providing a positive road side drugs test.

Officers from the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing Unit stopped the female driver on the A11 at Mildenhall on Monday afternoon due to an expired MOT.

The driver then provided a positive drugs test for both cannabis and cocaine and was arrested.

Officers described the incident as “unacceptable” on Twitter.
