Safe stolen and windows damaged during burglary at The Original Factory Shop in Brandon

A safe containing cash was stolen and windows damaged during a burglary at The Original Factory Shop in Brandon.

The incident at the retailer - which sells discounted homeware and furniture - on London Road, overnight between Wednesday, January 3 and Thursday, January 4.

The intruder alarm was activated at around 4am and police were called to the scene shortly after.

The offenders caused a significant amount of damage to a number of windows and also the roof during their attempts to break in to the shop.

Once entry had been gained a safe containing a quantity of cash was stolen.

Any witnesses or anyone with information about this burglary is asked to contact the Forest Heath Neighbourhood Response Team at Mildenhall Police Station on 101, quoting reference 667/18.
