Mildenhall Town produced the result of the day in the Ridgeons Premier Division, beating close rivals Kirkley & Pakefield 2-0 in a key clash.
Before the game - anticipated by both sides as a tough one - K&P were fourth with a game in hand over Mildenhall who were two places below.

Elveden Cricket Club is a small and friendly club looking for new players of any age and ability.
They are having nets on Sunday from noon-1pm at Brandon sports centre and are also looking to run a youth programme in the summer with two new coaches.

HOCKEY was the winner this weekend for Thetford Ladies.
Incredible team work, some strong defending with cleaner passing and greater possession meant for far more exciting hockey than previous weeks for this half of the season.

BRECKS Bowls Club played second-placed Dereham A and moved above them with a good win by 80-64 (6-1).
With only two games to go there is a good chance of promotion to Division Two.
